With The Young and the Restless set to devote the September 27th airshow to actress Sharon Case (who’ll be celebrating her 30th anniversary with the CBS sudser), now comes word that Michelle Stafford, who’ll be celebrating three decades since first debuting as Phyllis Summers, will be spotlit on October 18th.

Though details of the standalone special are being closely guarded, Soap Opera News is reporting that fans are in for “a wild trip down memory lane, showcasing [Phyllis’] most memorable moments over the years.”

Phyllis has a long and illustrious history in Genoa City. From love triangles to murder plots gone wrong, she keeps everyone on their toes. She’s stolen lovers, stalked crushes, and gone off the rails more times than we can count. While Michelle hasn’t always been the face of Phyllis, every time she returned to the role, fans everywhere celebrated her homecoming to Genoa City.

In related news, Y&R will cross the 13,000th episode mark on November 13th of this year (2024).
