This week’s The Young and the Restless recap for the week of July 29th, 2024, featured Victor playing the long game, Lily making a shocking confession, Adam and Chelsea avoiding the truth, and Sharon falling further down the spiral.

Monday, July 29th

Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Faith (Reylynn Caster) met in the park and compared notes about Sharon (Sharon Case). They were worried…as they should be. Sharon was in a rough state and not only having visions of Nick kissing her but also of Cassie. She eventually snapped out of it and went to Society where she cried at Daniel (Michael Graziadei). This prompted Daniel to have an honest conversation with his daughter about drinking.

Sally (Courtney Hope) and Billy (Jason Thompson) met up at Crimson Lights and shared their concerns about Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). At the same time, Chelsea and Adam got the great news that Connor (Judah Mackey) is coming home. They ran off to pack up and grab their kid. They ran into Billy and Sally who wanted to talk….before they take flight.

Tuesday, July 30th

Chelsea did not take Billy and Sally’s inquiry well and lost it. She blew up over their well-placed mistrust and was in such a frenzy by the time she stormed off she almost slipped up to Billy. And, what she said did, in fact, put him on alert.

Kyle (Micheal Mealor) and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) ran into Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) at the club and the foursome had a fiery showdown. Jack completely lost his cool and went at Kyle like never before. Oh, boy, was Kyle in a mood by the time he and Audra got into the car for the airport.

Speaking of the trip, Claire (Hayley Erin) was upset she didn’t get to go. She opened up to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) about her disappointment. Don’t worry, richy-rich mommy will take you to France one day.

Wednesday, July 31st

On this episode of The Young and the Restless, Sharon tried to escape her problems by getting some fresh air only to find her visions of Cassie…and Nick… haunting her wherever she went. As for her family, Faith and Mariah were worried sick. By the time Sharon made her way home she was a mess and Mariah called Nick.

As for Nick, he was busy at the office plotting with Victor. Devon stopped by to talk for a meeting and got a warning to get Lily out of Chancellor, but no explanation. Devon heard that loud and clear. He went right to Lily and all but begged her to return to Winters before it was too late. Meanwhile, Billy remained in the dark about the whole scheme.

Thursday, August 1st

Devon leveled with Lily and told her everything he knew. Victor was coming for Chancellor and warned him to get her out of there. Lily shocked Devon by confessing she’s been playing Billy this whole time. It was her way of protecting Chancellor. She then went to the office and dropped the Victor bomb on Chance (Conner Floyd) and Billy.

Daniel and Summer made up but then he ruined it by giving her a healthy dose of reality about her custody case. Summer didn’t like the facts Daniel was slinging her way and she stormed out of Society. Later, she escaped her problems by taking Chance to bed.

Over at Sharon’s house, she completely fell apart. She admitted she stopped taking her meds and is now on a downward spiral. Sharon even confessed to the hallucinations. She needs help, but not a hospital. Sharon wants to find a peaceful place to heal. Unfortunately, once alone, she has a shocking vision of Cameron!

Friday, August 2nd

Victor and Nikki dined at Society and discussed their not-so-secret plot. Billy, also there, came over to chew them out but the Newmans simply smiled as they slung mud.

Billy decided to retaliate by making a big, splashy show of changing the company name and started planning a party. Lily was not happy about it, though. Speaking of office switcheroos, Mariah opened up to Tessa about what was going on with Sharon and all her worries. And, that she’ll be taking over at Cassidy First.

Meanwhile, Sharon fought against the hallucinations of Cameron that were tormenting her. She got a brief reprieve when Daniel showed up to talk about creating a game to honor Cassie, but once he left, Cameron was back. Sharon booked a desert vacation to get away.

All the while, Faith apologized to Lucy and invited her to see a band. Daniel reluctantly agreed to let her go.
