This week’s The Young and the Restless recap for the week of April 22nd featured several rocky votes at Chancellor-Winters, Ashley developing a new personality, Kyle rescuing his son, Victor capturing Jordan, and so, so much more!
Monday, April 22
Billy (Jason Thompson) proposed the idea of being co-CEO to Lily (Christel Khalil). She didn’t exactly agree but she did offer to back him getting a permanent title. When they got to the office and on a call with Jill (Jess Walton), Devon (Bryton James) suggested they give Nate (Sean Dominic) a board seat and forced a vote. Devon and Abby (Melissa Ordway) voted yes, but Billy and Jill said no. The ball was in Lily’s court.
Meanwhile, Chance (Conner Floyd) leaned on his cop contacts for info and got ahold of the floral delivery man. They called him to the Ranch for a talk. Victor (Eric Braeden) offered Dave $100,000 for information.
Over at the Tack House, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) continued secretly sipping while formulating a plan to sacrifice herself to Jordan (Colleen Zenk) in exchange for Harrison. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) accused her of being drunk, which Nikki promptly and vehemently denied.

Nikki hounded Victoria until she gave up Claire’s number. She sent a text to meet in the alley in an hour. It’s time to end this! She took off home to kiss Victor and then to the alley, leaving Cole to comfort Victoria.
At the same time, Victor, Jack (Peter Bergman), and Kyle (Michael Mealor) pried the information out of Dave the delivery man. Yes, he helped Jordan, but he had no idea what she was planning. She offered him 10k to use his truck and because of his gambling debts, he took it. They dispersed to search for clues.
Over at Chancellor-Winters, Lily decided against giving Nate a seat on the board. The company as a whole (despite Jill and Billy’s protests) decided to move forward with Daniel’s lawsuit. Afterward, Billy tried to get Lily to team up and take over the company again. And again, she said no. She then ran off to tell Mamie (Veronica Redd) all that went down. Mamie was not pleased. At all. She suggested reversing the merge and Lily turned that down flat.
Wednesday, April 24
Daniel (Michael Graziadei) came in hot when he met up with his sister. How dare she ignore his calls? He shut up real quick when Summer (Allison Lanier) told him about Harrison. Oops. As for Jordan, she tormented Harrison and threatened him to keep sweet while she went to meet Nikki.
Jack stuck very much around the mansion. First, he talked with Traci (Beth Maitland), then he took a call from Kyle with the news of the lead. As for Traci, she went off to find her sister, which she eventually did after bumping into Danny (Michael Damian). Ashley was in the Jazz lounge flirting it up with a pianist and showing off her new Southern Belle persona.
As for that lead Kyle got, it wasn’t much, but it was enough. He saw footage from the diner which detailed Jordan’s car. He quickly found the car and soon after, rescued his son.
Over in the alley, Nikki stayed for her hour and eventually left just before Jordan showed up. The maniac wasn’t alone long, though. Victor was there and he took her down!
Thursday, April 25
Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) spent the day discussing the kidnapping and were relieved to hear Harrison was okay. They made a beeline for the mansion to see him and their daughter.
Summer ran to the hotel and held her son while Kyle went looking for Claire. She was nowhere to be found. Later, back at the Abbott mansion, Harrison told them the “witch-woman” hurt Claire and they needed to save her.
The Newmans were thrilled Harrison was home but upset Claire was still gone. Thankfully, Claire managed to call. Unfortunately, Victoria couldn’t hear a word she was saying.
Victor told everyone a solid-sounding story that Jordan died. He claimed she drowned after falling off a bridge. In reality, he had her locked in a cell in the wine cellar.
Friday, April 26
Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) got two lovely surprises. First, a visit from her wife who suggested she pick her guitar back up. And, second, Devon promised to add her to the local festival lineups. Abby even got in on the action promising to assure Tessa her job was safe…no matter what.
Speaking of Devon, he talked shop with Abby and admitted he was no longer happy at Chancellor-Winters. At least not with Billy around. As for Billy, he felt the same way but instead of griping, he was scheming. He proposed partnering up again with Lily, who said no — despite her awful meeting with Mamie.
At the same time, Tucker (Trevor St. John) pushed for marriage, but all Audra (Zuleyka Silver) was willing to promise was love. He didn’t fully like the idea, but Audra was not budging. She didn’t need a piece of paper to solidify their relationship.
And, finally, Traci met Ashley’s new alter but had no idea it was an alter (despite the southern drawl). Thankfully, the Southern Belle agreed to seek help from Ashley’s old therapist. Except, instead of “help” she wanted romance. It was much better than the evil alter’s plan to kill Tucker.
