The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, August 12th, 2024, tease Victor tasks Adam with a mission that puts a firm target on Billy’s back.

Victor (Eric Braeden) is kicking his takeover plans into high gear. If all goes to plan, Billy (Jason Thompson) will soon be relieved of the weight of Catherine’s company. But, Victor can’t do it alone…and for this plan, he needs his sneakiest child. He needs Adam (Mark Grossman).

Adam is always down for a good scheme, especially when he gets to tango with Billy. However, in light of recent events (ahem, Adam sleeping with Billy’s girlfriend) it may not be the right time to go after the poor guy. This is going to take some convincing…and pushing…which are Victor’s specialty.

Speaking of that affair, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) feels the weight of her lies and it’s tearing her apart. The guilt, the shame, the betrayal! She can not handle how this all feels in her soul. Will she break down and finally tell Billy what she did? Is she willing to risk their love story by unburdening herself?

Also coming up on The Young and the Restless, Summer (Allison Lanier) has a shocking ultimatum for Kyle (Michael Mealor). If he wants to get along with her and do this healthy co-parenting thing, he has to cut all ties to Audra (Zuleyka Silver). And yes, that means quitting his job and walking away. What’s more important…a job or his son? Summer may regret this. Kyle can have it all if he fights back.

Is Adam sly enough to take Billy down to appease his father?
