The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, August 13, 2024, tease Jack corners Billy over his use of their family last name…and let’s just say, he’s NOT happy!

Billy (Jason Thompson) keeps swearing up and down he’s adding the Abbott last name to Chancellor to protect his mother’s legacy, but is that the truth? Jack (Peter Bergman) doesn’t think so. If that was the case, why not use Foster? Why use a last name that Jill (Jess Walton) shouldn’t even be using anymore? She’s not an Abbott. She’s not even married to an Abbott and hasn’t been for YEARS.

Jack demands answers and gives his brutal opinions. He’s sick of Billy’s pretentiousness and greed. Enough is enough. Billy needs to get his head on straight and start acting right. Jack isn’t giving him leeway here. He knows what Katherine’s legacy means and that it doesn’t need to have Abbott anywhere near it.

At the same time, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) corners Lily (Christel Khalil) for a little talk…woman-to-woman. Does this have to do with Lily’s allegiance to Billy? It’s no secret that Phyllis isn’t that man’s biggest fan but will she waste energy bashing him to Lily? Of course, she will! Phyllis has all the time in the world to sling mud.

Also coming up on The Young and the Restless, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) shocks her daughter by making a bold decision. Is she backing out of the battle for Chancellor? Has she reconsidered her stance? Or, will she surprise everyone and decide to jump in with both feet and go for broke?
Jack is MAD and Billy’s in hot water! Is Jack right to be fuming?
