The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, August 26th, 2024, tease Lucy’s drinking is out of control…and her family may pay the price!

Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) was already warned about the dangers of drinking from both her dad and by Faith (Reylynn Caster). It seems the scare tactics and brutal honestly didn’t work because she’s at it again. And, this time, the booze lands her in a hospital bed.
This is an über-traumatic moment for Daniel (Michael Graziadei). All those years ago, he was in the car that Cassie (Camryn Grimes) because he was too drunk to dive and now his daughter is hitting the bottle, too. Will poor Lucy pull through and learn the errors of her ways?
At the same time, Nick (Joshua Morrow) runs into Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and he can’t keep his thoughts to himself. He offers up some classic unwanted advice. But, at least it’s good advice, right? Phyllis really should listen to what he has to say. Nick is one of the most fair people in town.
Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) attempts to make peace with Kyle (Michael Mealor). There is a lot of bad blood right now between Kyle and his parents and the animosity is becoming too much. Jack doesn’t want this battle. He doesn’t want the house to be a war zone. He wants to do what’s best for the whole family and that means making amends and moving forward as a united front. Does Kyle want that too?
Will this be Lucy’s rock bottom or is this troubled teen just getting started?
