The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, August 28th, 2024, tease Adam’s messy little affair with Chelsea is going to cost him…big time!

Sally (Courtney Hope) can forgive a lot. Heck, she’s been forgiven for a lot (especially back in Los Angeles). She can put up with the Newman drama, the work theatrics, and being left behind so Adam (Mark Grossman) could be with his son. What she won’t allow, though, is letting any man lie straight to her face. And, Adam has done just that for the past few weeks.
Does it hurt her that he slept with his ex? Yes, of course. What hurts more, though, is Adam gaslighting her instead of coming clean and letting her digest his betrayal. Now, there’s no way out of this for Adam. The truth is out and Sally’s ready to pack her bags and hightail it to a hotel room. Alone.
At the same time, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) tries everything she has to make amends to Billy (Jason Thompson). She did a very bad thing and she’s well aware this could be the final straw for this romance. Is there anything she can say or do to get Billy to not only forgive her but stay with her? That’s going to be one tough sale.
Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) mull over Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) close connection to Victor (Eric Braeden). They don’t like it. Not one bit. Can they do anything about it, though? Kyle is a big boy and has made it clear he doesn’t want or need their opinion on his life. The harder they try, the more he’ll pull away.
Should Sally forgive Adam? Should Billy forgive Chelsea?
