The Young and the Restless spoilers for for January 1-5, 2024, promise a week with a standalone episode as 2024 life in GC gets off to a roaring start.
Tuesday, January 2
Victor (Eric Braeden) is determined to start 2024 with his two sons working together and getting along, which sounds like quite a pipe dream. However, we all know that The Great Victor Newman doesn’t give up easily. To that end, he tries to broker a truce between Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Adam (Mark Grossman). Too bad Sally (Courtney Hope) might get in the way.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Cole (J. Eddie Peck) pay a visit to Claire (Hayley Erin) at Genoa City Memorial but their visit doesn’t quite go as planned. This leads to Victoria making a shocking decision.
When Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) takes matters into her own hands, does that mean she attends an AA meeting or confronts Jordan (Colleen Zenk), who is now behind bars?
Wednesday, January 3
Sharon (Sharon Case) has just about had it watching Summer (Allison Lanier) fawn all over the man she is dating. She can tell that Summer wants Chance (Conner Floyd) and doesn’t want to compete with her ex-husband’s daughter. So, he takes the bull by the horns and confronts Summer about her feelings.
After a New Year’s Eve that saw him betraying Lily (Christel Khalik) by kissing Heather (Vail Bloom) while Lily is comforting her traumatized child, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) tries to clear the air with Heather. Does he tell her they can never kiss again?
Daniel also gets some unsolicited advice from his father, but is Danny (Michael Damian) the right person to be doing that considering his New Year’s Eve kisses with both Christine (Lauralee Bell) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford)?
Thursday, January 4
Although Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) feels she is now free of Jordan’s wrath, she will have to live with the effects of the torture for quite a while. She keeps staring at the bottle and once again finds herself resisting the temptation to drink.
Victoria is as determined as her mother to pick up the pieces of her life as she does her best to work on her relationship with Claire. Will her daughter be receptive to her love?
