The Young and the Restless spoilers for for Sept. 25 – 29, 2023 hint it’ll be a week of surprises. The big story is two of Genoa City’s favorite residents will return and it’ll bring joyful reunions. However, the rest of the week will be filled with betrayal and other shakeups. Here’s a sneak peek at next week’s spoilers.
Familiar Faces Return
The fall season will bring the return of two beloved characters. First, former Abbott housekeeper Mamie returns and her first stop is seeing her favorite family. Since the Abbotts are going through a difficult time, seeing Mamie will bring some much-needed happiness. Later Mamie meets with her great niece and nephews; Lily, Devon, and Nate. The cousins have been estranged since Nate’s power trip at Chancellor-Winters. Can Mamie’s arrival help the trio work out their problems?
Danny is another familiar face who’ll be returning to Genoa City this week. During his last trip, Danny took part in the memorial for his ex-wife Phyllis. But since Phyllis is alive and well, he’ll be bumping into his ex. While Danny should be angry like everyone else, in a surprising twist he’ll show compassion toward Phyllis. Danny’s support could give Phyllis the boost she needs to turn her life around.
Adam Faces More Changes
It’s time to put Adam to the test. The black sheep of the Newman family is trying to get back into everyone’s good graces. Adam proclaims he wants to change and tells Victor he’s willing to start from the bottom up if given another chance. Victor is dubious of Adam’s sudden change of heart and tests his son’s commitment. The Moustache agrees to let Adam come back to work at Newman Enterprises, but Adam might not like his new job.
Later Adam meets with Sally and makes another play for her. Although he should respect her wishes and let her move on with Nick, he can’t let her go. Their kiss last week confirmed that they belong together. Can Adam convince Sally to give him another chance?
Jack Reels From A Betrayal
As the head of the Abbotts, Jack has enough on his plate. He’s running Jabot, worrying about Ashley’s well-being, dealing with Billy’s reckless behavior, and trying to stop Tucker’s retaliation plot. What more could go wrong for Jack? Well, things worsen this week when Jack discovers a betrayal. Perhaps he learns about Phyllis’ partnership with Tucker in his quest to take over Jabot. Phyllis is already on Jack’s bad side and this would create more drama for the former friendly exes.
But odds are the betrayal will have something to do with Jack’s brother Billy. The two haven’t been getting along because of the Tucker situation. Billy’s already proved he can’t be trusted when he went against Jack’s wishes by interfering in Devon and Tucker’s relationship. Jack is close to cutting ties with Billy, and one more silly stunt means the end of their brotherly bond. Since Billy’s obsessed with getting Tucker out of town, he’ll do something careless to earn Jack’s wrath. Another scenario is that Tucker frames Billy for a crime. Tucker said he wanted Phyllis to hack into Billy’s personal financial records, but never explained the reason. Mr. McCall is using Billy as a pawn in his revenge plot and unfortunately Billy will pay the price. Tucker could frame Billy for embezzlement, which would infuriate Jack. If Jack believes Billy stole money from their family’s company, that would be the final straw for the Abbott patriarch. In the battle of Tucker versus the Abbotts, Tucker will score a huge victory if he manages to come between Jack and Billy.
