The Young and the Restless promises many surprises for the Sept. 19, 2023 episode. Jack Abbott takes charge in a plot to remove Tucker McCall from their lives once and for all. Meanwhile, Tucker has a few aces up his sleeves, which involves a new partner. Here’s a sneak peek of what to expect for Tuesday’s episode.
Tessa Surprises Mariah With An Early Return
New parents Mariah and Tessa are facing every mother’s worst fear with baby Aria’s health crisis. The couple is worried their daughter might have trouble with her hearing and anxiously await the audiologist appointment. Unfortunately, Tessa’s schedule has her out of town on a business trip. With Tessa away, Mariah is left to hold down the fort. Mariah puts on a brave front, but can’t help thinking of the worst case scenario as Aria’s appointment nears. Although she has support from family and friends, Mariah wishes Tessa was here. The redhead is in for a surprise when her wife comes home early. Mariah and Tessa have a joyful reunion, but the excitement fades as they shift their focus to Aria’s appointment.
Jack Issues a Warning to Tucker
The Abbott brothers have been at odds recently, but Jack and Billy put their differences aside for a greater cause. With Ashley’s marriage to Tucker over, and her planning to stay in Paris, the brothers are in protective mode. They’re furious with Tucker for the pain he caused Ashley, and worry he’ll retaliate by going after Jabot. As the family patriarch, Jack feels it’s his duty to defend the Abbotts. Jack meets with Billy to discuss Tucker, and they agree McCall needs to go. The brothers work together to formulate a plan that will get Tucker out of Genoa City once and for all. Jack is so confident in his plot against Tucker that he gives McCall a warning when he bumps into him later in the evening. While many men wouldn’t want to go against Jack, Tucker’s proven he doesn’t back down from a challenge.
Tucker Has An Interesting Proposition For Phyllis
Poor Tucker is going through a rough patch following the demise of his marriage. As if having a broken heart wasn’t enough, he also has Jack breathing down his neck. If everyone thought Tucker was ruthless before, they haven’t seen anything yet. He wants revenge on Ashley and the Abbotts, and will hit them where it hurts. Tucker’s main objective is gaining control of Jabot and he’ll stop at nothing to do it. But he’ll require some assistance to get the ball rolling.
Tucker seeks out Phyllis as his partner in crime against Jabot. Like Tucker, Phyllis is also going through a difficult period. After her latest scheme, she’s everything she holds dear. However, Tucker can help get her back on her feet if she does him a favor. During their meeting, Tucker tells Phyllis he wants to put her expert tech skills to good use. He needs her to hack into a company, but doesn’t mention that it’s Jabot. Although Phyllis knows partnering with Tucker is a bad idea, she can’t help but be persuaded. Phyllis has no job or money, and Tucker’s promise of a huge financial windfall is too good to pass up. While Phyllis promised she’d be on the straight and narrow path following her arrest, desperate times call for desperate measures.
If Phyllis and Tucker team up, it’ll mean trouble for the Abbotts and Jabot. Phyllis is already on Jack and the Abbott family’s bad side. If she helps Tucker take control of Jabot, this will further strain her relationship with the family.
