The Young and the Restless spoilers for October 20, 2023, tease a tension-filled day in Genoa City as Jill goes after Mamie, Devon goes after Nate, and Victor goes after his enemies.
Jill is Ready to Fight Back
The last person Jill (Jess Walton) wants to work with is Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd). They never got along all those years ago and she doesn’t expect anything to change now. However, Mamie now owns part of Chancellor-Winters and wants to force her hand — something Jill does not take kindly to.
To that end, Jill decides to dig for some dirt on Mamie to see if she can learn anything that will force her to sell the shares she bought from Victor (Eric Braeden). She also thinks she can once again run Mamie out of town if she learns who she is working for. Blackmail is often the answer where Jill is concerned and she is not above using it on Mamie.
Devon Wants Answers
Meanwhile, Mamie’s talks with Devon (Bryton James) and Nate (Sean Dominic) may have done more harm than good, which was not her intention. She only wants to bring her family together, but Devon and Nate can’t seem to get along and are still at odds.
Things go from bad to worse when Devon starts interrogating Nate on Thursday. What does he want to know and will Nate give away any Newman secrets during this argument? Nate almost considered returning to Chancellor-Winters, but not if Devon is still going to treat him like he knows nothing. He is not going to be relegated to nothing more than a glorified assistant again and prefers to stay at Newman.
Victor’s Devious Plans
Victor was more than happy to sell those shares to Mamie and let Chancellor-Winters flounder on its own. He has bigger fish to fry like bringing his own family back together and bringing down any perceived enemies.
On Friday, Victor devises yet another plot to retaliate against one of his adversaries. Something tells us that the adversary is Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) since that seems to be the man everyone is after — and the man that Mamie is working with. Will Victor discover that while he enacts his scheme? Will he learn who is really pulling Mamie’s purse strings?
