The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for October 16, 2023, show Victor enacting his plan to put his family to the test — and it will alarm Nick in a major way when he wonders what is really going on with his father. You will also find drama from two prominent pairs — Adam and Sally and Daniel and Lily.
Victor’s Ultimate Plan
Nick (Joshua Morrow) notices Victor’s (Eric Braeden) deteriorating mental and physical state, especially when he seems to not realize that Adam (Mark Grossman) and Sally (Courtney Hope) lost their baby months ago. This prompts Nick to call a family meeting, but naturally, he will not invite Adam since he is angry with him. He’ll also leave Abby (Melissa Ordway) out of the mix as she always seems to be the forgotten Newman child. Will Adam learn of the meeting after the fact when Victoria opens her big mouth?
Of course, Victor’s plan is made clear as he attempts to put his family to the test by pretending to have a medical emergency. Victor closely watches how Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Adam, Nick, and Nate (Sean Dominic) respond to this information, while Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has a difficult time not giving away the game because she is more aware of Victor’s plan than she is letting on. Will Nikki confront Victor and demand that he stop what he is doing? Perhaps, but Victor thinks he knows what he is doing and will do his best to put Nikki’s worries to rest.
Things Get More Turbulent for Adam and Sally
At least Adam is able to keep himself busy while his father throws fear into his siblings. He visits Sally and a heated argument ensues when they both admit they have lingering feelings for each other. Sally reluctantly allows Adam to enter her suite, but soon tells him that he must go. Yes, she still wants him, but no, she will not allow herself to have him. When Adam leaves, she is in tears and he looks like he is on the verge of tears. Will Adam and Sally ever find their way back to one another?
Lily’s Troubling Discovery
Although Lily (Christel Khalil) finds out about Heather (Vale Bloom) and Lucy’s (Lily Brooks O’Briant) return, knowing that Daniel (Michael Graziadei) delayed telling her concerns Lily. She then wonders what else Daniel might be keeping from her and how it could affect their burgeoning relationship. She’s also quite curious when Heather seems to want something from her. Will Lily oblige?
