The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of September 2nd, 2024, tease yet more corporate intrigue, copious regrets, and much more.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers
Monday, September 2nd
The Young and the Restless kicks off the week with Adam (Mark Grossman) blaming Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) for their respective problems. If she hadn’t had to alleviate her guilt by confessing all to Billy (Jason Thompson), then she and Billy Boy would still be going strong and Adam and Sally (Courtney Hope) would still be living the high life (with Sally in blissful ignorance).
At the same time, Lily (Christel Khalil) puts Billy on notice. Firing or no firing, big buy-out or no big buy-out, she’s not leaving Abbott-Chancellor quietly.
Tuesday, September 3rd
Having had a chance (HA!) to really sit with his decision, and having had a front-row seat to the endless infighting, back-biting, and endless parade of faces in and out of the door, Chance (Conner Floyd) begins to seriously second-guess his decision to start working at Abbott-Chancellor. After all, he was much happier as a detective with the GCPD…and he wasn’t having to dodge as many (metaphorical) bullets on a daily basis.
Speaking of the dramatic goings on in the C-suite, look for Victor (Eric Braeden) to cozy up to Lily and promise to help her take down Billy once and for all.
Wednesday, September 4th
Hump day starts with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) clearing the air with Faith (Reylynn Caster). No doubt Granny Red saw red when she first heard that her darling Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) had been injured in a car driven by Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon’s (Sharon Case) spawn, but now that the circumstances have been explained to her, she’s got a few things to get off her chest (and no doubt apologize for).
Elsewhere, Sharon makes a vow to Nicholas…probably concerning her mental health…and one that she probably doesn’t intend on keeping.
Thursday, September 5th
In this episode, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) provides Victor with some valuable intel about Billy, possibly gleaned from the little chit-chat she arranged to have with Lily concerning those letters penned by Katherine “The Great.”
Opposite, Kyle (Michael Mealor) makes a confession to Claire (Hayley Erin). Is the embattled, embittered scion starting to regret pushing Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) away and throwing in his lot with Victor? Or might he be nostalgic over better days with former wife Summer (Allison Lanier)?

The week concludes with Diane struggling to connect with Kyle, Nicholas seeking (wise?) counsel from Victor and Nikki, and Daniel (Michael Graziadei) standing his ground with Lucy. She did a bad, bad thing — a potentially deadly thing — and she’s going to be punished accordingly. And this time, daddy doesn’t care how much she sulks or how big a temper tantrum she throws.
