Today’s Days of Our Lives recap for November 6, 2023, details the end of Li, the beginning of Gabi’s latest nightmare, and so much more.
Li Is Dead But Who Killed Him?

Stefan (Brandon Barash) was shocked when he found Gabi (Camila Banus) kneeling over Li’s (Remington Hoffman) body while holding a bloodied knife. He wanted to know why she was there so Gabi explained that Li texted her and told her the stock certificates he signed were fake and he had the real ones. It turned out that Li lied, as Stefan assured her they were indeed real. He just wanted to know why she killed Li.
Gabi insisted she did not kill Li. He was lying face down with a bloodied back when she got there. She pulled the knife out of his back without thinking in an effort to help him. Now, she had her fingerprints all over the weapon.
The pair wondered if someone was trying to set her up before realizing they needed to run before anyone else showed up. As they tried to figure out what to do with the knife, a horrified Wendy (Victoria Grace) and Tripp (Lucas Adams) walked in.
Wendy quickly ran to her brother, who was miraculously still alive. Tripp and Wendy called an ambulance and got Li to the hospital, leaving Gabi and Stefan alone in the apartment assuming that Li would clear her name.
As Tripp worked on Li in the ER, Wendy spoke to him for a brief moment and asked him what happened. All Li could say was “Gabi” before he flatlined and was gone. Harris (Steve Burton) was forced to deliver this news to Gabi and Stefan — and arrest Gabi.
Ava And Harris Make A Date

Earlier in the evening, Tripp and Wendy had a great time at the Salem Bistro with Ava (Tamara Braun) as manager and hostess. Of course, Gil (David S. Lee) had to not-so-subtly remind her that he was running a tight ship and not all meals could be comped. Tripp soon left and Gil issued Ava a warning to run the drug part of their business as well as she was running the restaurant part of their business. Ava insisted she could do this in her sleep.
As Ava and Gil argued, Tripp walked in and wondered what was going on. Gil played innocent but Harris wasn’t sure about him. Once alone, Harris wondered how Ava could have liked working for Gil since something about him rubbed Harris the wrong way.
Ava knew she could handle Gil but enjoyed Harris being overprotective of her. Harris admitted he was a little jealous of Gil and wanted to spend more time alone with Ava because both of them seemed to have their lives on track now.
He was ready to take her out on a real date. Ava lied and said she worried her job might get in the way of their romance. Finally, Ava agreed to a nice dinner after Harris insisted this would not be a lifetime commitment. Their little moment came to an end when Harris got an alert about a stabbing victim.
Chad’s Jealousy

Chad (Billy Flynn) was shocked when he spotted Stephanie (Abigail Klein) with another man and she was forced to explain that this was the lost love who ghosted her years ago. Everett Blake (Berris) quickly tried to explain himself but Chad didn’t want to hear it. He also didn’t buy Everett’s excuse that he went out to mail a letter and was hit by a car, leading to a year in a medically-induced coma.
Chad especially didn’t like that Everett had hoped to pick things up with Stephanie right where they left off. He assured Chad that he understood that couldn’t happen now because Stephanie was taken. Chad seemed ok with Everett for about a minute until he learned that he was staying in Salem as the new editor of The Spectator.
After Everett walked away, Chad and Stephanie had a heated argument. Chad accused Everett of still loving her and Stephanie admitted it felt good to have a man who loved her and only her. Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) on The Bold and the Beautiful knows how she feels.
