Alright, my dears, let’s talk about Beyond the Gates. I know you’ve all been practically chewing your fingernails waiting for the resolution to that agonizing cliffhanger. After a week of reruns, CBS decided to tease us and then leave us waiting! But fear not, your faithful scribe has the inside scoop on what awaits Chelsea!

Loyal viewers will be relieved to know that Chelsea’s ordeal is far from over. Despite Allison’s declaration that she will have Chelsea if she can’t be with her, it seems the deranged bride will not succeed in harming our beloved Chelsea.
Now, CBS initially teased us with a promo focusing on other goings-on in the Dupree clan. Remember the original promo for September 8th week? It touched upon Nicole helping Ted, and Leslie having an emotional breakdown, but barely hinted at the Chelsea and Allison showdown. Remember ladies, you can still take a peak here.
However, a new promo, aired this week, has revealed a tantalizing detail: Allison is in police custody! But the drama doesn’t end there. A cryptic voiceover warns us that even crazier events are on the horizon, while family patriarch Dupree wonders aloud, “Dear God, what have we done?” (It appears there may have been a slight scheduling snafu, with this particular promo possibly intended for next Tuesday, following the resolution of the hostage situation next Monday, September 8.)
While we must patiently await next week to witness the full unfolding of events, we can at least find solace in a scene showcasing Anita embracing her granddaughter, whom she feared lost forever. However, the family’s relief may be premature, as Allison is not the only concern. It appears Kat and Jacob may face their own crisis, transforming from would-be rescuers into potential car accident victims!
