Is Eva Turning Over a New Leaf, or is Leslie Just as Conniving?

Loyal viewers will recall that Eva started out as every bit the schemer her mother is. But, since connecting with her father, Ted, and getting to know the Dupree family, we’ve seen a real softening in her. Dare we say, she’s even trying to be Leslie’s conscience?

Ambyr Michelle, who brings our Eva to life, shared with Soaps.com that “there’s always going to be some part of her mom about her, even if she is different and she knows that her mom’s ways are not always the best. There’s some rubbing off on Eva,” inevitably.

I have to say, I agree with Ambyr. Old habits die hard, don’t they?

Will Eva Be Tempted Back to the Dark Side?

Here’s where things get interesting, my friends. Ambyr confessed that she wouldn’t mind seeing Eva embrace her inner troublemaker a bit more! “I actually want Eva to be a little bit spicier,” she admitted. “But that could just be me wanting to play spicier. “Eva is really just a good person at heart. Maybe she’ll use her powers for good. We’ll pray for her.”

Pray indeed! It’s that internal struggle that makes Eva so compelling. Will she truly choose the path of righteousness? Or will the lure of her mother’s influence prove too strong? Only time will tell.
