We here at Daily Drama are celebrating Throwback Thursday by having a rummage through our vault (well, YouTube, but it’s the same principle!) and pulling a clip from way back when. Today’s offering: The Bold and the Beautiful‘s Nicole Avant (Reign Edwards) hatching a next-generation Forrester.

The date: May 17, 2016. The occasion: the birth of Elizabeth Nicole Forrester, the sire of Rick Forrester (Jacob Young) and Maya Avant (Karla Mosley) by way of surrogate mother Nicole. The accompanying tune crooned over the proceedings: These Are The Moments — performed by Edwards (talk about pulling double duty!).
There was drama a plenty both before and after Lizzy’s entrance into the world. Nicole agreed to carry the babe for her sister and brother-in-law despite never having been with a man in the biblical sense and the pregnancy put rather a damper on her burgeoning romance with Zende — and then when it was feared Nicole could never again get pregnant, the Avan family’s transphobic patriarch attempted to persuade her to keep Lizzie for herself.
