Laneya Grace debuted as Electra Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful last week and fans are already taking notice! She’s cute, she’s funny, and she’s a perfect match for the Los Angeles crew. We had the honor of stealing a few minutes of her time to find out more about the actress.
Welcome to Bold and the Beautiful, Laneya Grace!
Laneya jumped into the soapverse with both feet and it shows. Her first few episodes have hit a high note with viewers and they’re already wanting more! For Grace, this is an exciting time, especially having the opportunity to cultivate a new character. “I just want her to be someone that the fans really love and root for,” she shares. “This is a whole new adventure for Electra so I want her to feel at home and connected as time goes on.”
Electra is certainly making those connections already! She and Crew Morrow’s Will Spencer literally bumped into each other in the Forrester Creations halls and it was a magical moment. Not only are they slated for onscreen love, but the actors have also gotten close. “We met up before we started filming and we got to really know each other,” Grace tells us. “We became quick friends.”

It seems like her romantic future is a slam dunk, but what about Electra’s professional life? She and Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) are making a strong bid to get their jewelry on the FC runway. “I hope they have a future with Forrester Creations,” the actress enthuses. “Something that goes beyond this space that we’re in right now.”
Speaking of working in a design house, we had to talk about Electra’s gorgeous wardrobe on the show. “Oh, I love it! Fittings have always been my favorite part of the acting process because it really informs your character. I feel like it tells you something about who they are as a person. And, it’s nice when I, as the actor, feel good in it too.”
On A Personal Level
Getting into the entertainment industry seems to have come quite naturally to Grace. “I started off as a model when I was just four years old. Then, I was approached by Ralph Lauren to star in a music video Wake Me Up by Avicii. Then, I started booking a couple of commercials. Later, I moved to Houston Texas for high school and got involved in musical theatre. That was when I knew I wanted to act. In my mind, I was like ‘I want to do this forever, actually.'”
Getting the audition for The Bold and the Beautiful was a life-changing moment for the young star. “I was studying at the University of Houston and had to drop out. Fortunately, it was because I booked the show.” ” Grace says. And, she has no regrets! The role of Electra is no small bit. This is a huge deal and she’s more than grateful for the opportunity to shine on daytime!
