It’s been a hot minute since Rome Flynn’s days on The Bold and the Beautiful. Since his departure from the sudser he’s made quite a name for himself in the primetime world. And, he’s not done yet!
Rome Flynn’s New Venture
News came back in March that he’s leaving Chicago Fire after a six-episode run. But, he’s onto big things with his next casting. He’s taking on the role of Frank Lucas, a gangster who is going to have plenty of scenes opposite Oscar winner Forester Whitaker’s Ellsworth “Bumpy” Johnson. In fact, he’ll become the Mob King’s right-hand man!
During an interview with Deadline, Rome Flynn is quoted as saying he’s “Thrilled to be a part of the Godfather of Harlem universe and breathe new life into the legend of Frank Lucas.”
This sounds like a great fit for the dynamic and dedicated actor. We’ve seen him as the uber-romantic Zende on B&B, the smart and slick Gabriel Maddox on How to Get Away with Murder, and a messy Gibson on Chicago Fire. Watch for his character to begin airing during season four!
