This week’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap for the week of August 12th, 2024, featured Danny Romalotti rocking the house, Hope kissing Finn, a new DNA test proving Bill’s NOT the daddy, and Luna making a shocking and strange move!

Monday, August 12th
Katie (Heather Tom) frantically tried to warn Dollar Bill (Don Diamont) about Poppy (Romy Park) but, of course, she was interrupted by Popy and Luna (Lisa Yamada). No problem, her point was made when Baker (Dan Martin) showed up with Tom’s backpack and an arrest warrant.
Meanwhile, Liam (Scott Clifton) and Will (Crew Morrow) met at Il Giardino to discuss Bill’s new life and family. Liam urged his little brother to give it time. He was confident Will would eventually like Luna and Poppy.
At the same time, RJ (Joshua Hoffman) updated his parents with the latest gossip and drama…including the story of Tom’s backpack. All three agreed this didn’t sound like something Poppy would do. There’s no way she’s a killer…right?
Tuesday, August 13th
Poor Luna was beside herself and urged Bill to help her mother. Katie urged Bill to let the police do their job…and all but begged him to get another paternity test. Dollar Bill wasn’t sure what to think but it was clear he had his doubts about Poppy.
Over at the Forresters, the festivities began. There was food, lingerie models, a DJ, and a visit from rockstar Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and his girlfriend, Christine (Lauralee Bell). They weren’t the focus, though. This party was to honor Brooke…which didn’t make Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) or Pam (Alley Mills) very happy.
Wednesday, August 14th
The party was in full swing at the Forrester mansion. Danny even graced the crowd by playing his hit song “Rock On” for all to enjoy. And, enjoy it they did! Unfortunately, Hope had one drink too many and made a fool of herself several times…including pulling Finn (Tanner Novlan) off to the side to try and make out with him. He promptly pushed her away.
Also on this episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Katie insisted Bill get a second paternity test and this time, he agreed. She then took off to the office to touch base with her son. They discussed all things Poppy, of course. As for Bill, he comforted Luna the best he could. He promised to always be her dad, no matter what.
Thursday, August 15th
At Katie’s urging, Bill and Luna took another test. This time, just the two of them. They swabbed their cheeks and sat and anxiously waited for the results. Bill assured Luna the DNA wouldn’t change anything between them. He still wanted to be her dad.
Brooke caught Hope in the design room having a private and quiet meltdown. Hope cried about being a rotten person…but didn’t admit to anything. After Hope ran off, Brooke made her way to the main office where she and Steffy finally made peace with each other.
Ridden with guilt, Hope showed up at Finn’s office. He didn’t take her visit lightly and promptly put her on blast. He unleashed his frustrations and let her know once and for all that he’s a happily married man and wants nothing to do with her romantically, period. She begged him to at least keep the kiss a secret but Finn wasn’t having it. He warned her that Steffy would soon know.
Friday, August 16th
Steffy got a lovely surprise when her mother showed up at her door. Within minutes, they were gossiping about the Logans…especially Hope and Finn. Steffy’s gut instinct tells her something’s up. And, she’s right. At the same time, Finn tore into Hope again for the kiss and set her straight. She ran off to the office to mope and Finn went home to his wife.
Over at the Spencer house, Bill and Luna’s hearts broke when they realized they weren’t related. He’s NOT her father and Poppy…or Li…messed with the other test. Bill promised he would be there for Luna from here on out regardless and she took that to mean she should make a move and kiss him!
As for Poppy, she got a surprise when Li (Naomi Matsuda) showed up at the jail to show her support. She pledged her unwavering love to her sister and niece. No, she did not think Poppy was a killer.
