The new year is upon us, and The Bold and the Beautiful‘s co-executive producer/headwriter,Brad Bell, is offering up a smorgasbord of spoilers.

“We are excited,” he enthused to TVInsider’s Stephanie Sloan. “This many years into it, we are as pumped up as we’ve ever been. It’s just a wonderful team here and I see us as a little half-hour engine that could. We’re still here and we’re still plugging along and we’re really going to be delivering our best drama.”
Expect an (eventual) resolution to the Who’s In Charge of Forrester Creations storyline. “It will be a battle royale going on there,” promises Bell. The Forrester family’s secret weapon? A nose who knows: perfumer Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire). She’s a plant by Steffy to really undermine Carter and to dismantle this current situation where he, Hope and Brooke are in charge.”
The next generation — Will (Crew Morrow), Electra (Laneya Grace), and Luna (Lisa Yamada) — will also take center stage in a “kind of…mystery story, with some shocking twists.”
Frequently bandied about in the interview is the promise of something “completely different.” Scott Clifton’s Liam will be back on the front burner in a story that’s “completely different for him,” while Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) will be facing a challenge “completely different for them.”
Additionally, Steffy [Jacqueline MacInnes Wood] and Finn [Tanner Novlan] are going to have a new challenge, and their relationship is going to be put to the test.
In summation: “There’s business, there’s romance and we have a location shoot coming up…We have an incredible cast. Every scene you cut to, there’s someone who’s delivering a great performance. So, I’m very excited about [our] stories and cast for 2025. Everyone’s really popping, and I think it’ll be one of our best years if not our best year ever.”
