Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) has pulled quite a few purposeful fast ones on Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) in the past, and he’s always been able to forgive and semi-forget. (He only throws them up in Brooke’s face when he’s really, really down or guilty himself of less than honorable behavior.)
But now it seems Brooke’s act of unintentional betrayal — how was she to know that Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) would offer her the CEO position after she ratted outed him and his coup? — will be a bridge too far.
(And yes, we’re going to ignore the very real fact that Ridge already installed Brooke as Steff’s co-CEO months previous despite that being a pretty big story point.)
Alone and stewing (never a good combination for the Forrester heir apparent), Ridge soon finds himself being comforted by Taylor (Rebecca Budig) — she of zero self-respect — and in no time flat the two are pawing at each other and taking things to a bedroom upstairs.
It remains to be seen whether or not the two will actually do the deed, and Brooke’s sudden appearance at the front door might stymie a full-on affair, but all appearances seem to indicate that Ms Logan might reach the couple only after the damage has been done.
