Lamon Archey and Sal Stowers Return To DAYS
Per Soap Opera News, Eli and Lani’s return date is scheduled for Thursday, February 29. Look for them to act opposite Jackée Harry’s Paulina.
The two were last scene working on locating a missing Abe Carver (James Reynolds) back in Summer 2023 — Lani while on furlough from her Maryland-based prison. No doubt Paulina’s recent, negative reaction to her surgery is the cause for Eli and Lani’s visit.
In an exclusive interview with Soap Opera Digest, Archey enthused, “I was excited to see Sal. It had been a long time since I had had any scenes with her, so it was definitely good to come back and work with Sal again.”
But it wasn’t just Stowers that Archey was thrilled to reunite with. He told the publication, “I was definitely looking forward to catching up with Jim (Abe Carver) and always Susan (Julie Williams), Anytime I go there, I always go to her room and see if she’s in there, whether I have a scene with her or not. I always try to touch base with her.”
As for working with his leading lady, Archey mused that, “Our friendship goes well beyond Days of our Lives. I knew her before [we worked together on the show] so there’s never the thing where we have to get used to each other again or feel like we have to dust off the cobwebs.”
