There are some big names heading your way this week…and some departing the scene. Get the scoop on all the latest soap comings and goings for the week of December 2nd
Comings and Goings
The Bold and the Beautiful
Ashley Jones has been tapped to return as Dr. Bridget Forrester, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Eric’s (John McCook) sire. She was last onscreen in September.
Also waiting in the wings is Pam Douglas’ portrayer, Alley Mills. In between stints (her last scene as Pam was back in August [2024]), Mills has portrayed Heather Webber in General Hospital.
In addition, Lisa Yamada (Luna Nozawa) and Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan) will put in appearances. The former opposite Don Diamont’s Bill Spencer, the latter her play husband, Eric Forrester (John McCook).
Days of our Lives
Original cast member (and the only surviving performer who appeared in the first installment) Maree Cheatham and her alter-ego, the much-put-upon Marie Horton, are back beginning Monday, December 2nd.
That same episode sees Gloria Loring reprise her role of seductive songbird Liz Chandler. Cheatham was last onscreen in 2010 when she appeared as part of Alice Horton’s swansong, while Loring appeared between 1980 and 1986. Look for the scrappers to set about reviving the enmity between them.
Meanwhile, look for Julie’s (Susan Seaforth) sauve and slimy baby brother, Steven Olson, to shimmy up the trellis outside the Horton House and let himself inside. He’ll also make the acquaintance of Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) while out and about in Horton Town Square. Soap hopper Stephen Schnetzer (ex-Cass Winthrop, Another World/As the World Turns/Guiding Light; ex-Marcello Salta, One Life to Live) hasn’t been seen in Salem since his abscondment in 1980.
Finally, Bryan R. Dattilo (Lucas Horton) and Victoria Konefal (Ciara Brady Weston) round out the week’s comebacks.
In addition, DAYS is set to introduce Doug Williams’ namesake, never before mentioned grandson, Doug Williams III on Tuesday, December 3rd. He’ll be played by Disney alum Peyton Meyer. Get the details HERE.
General Hospital
As previously reported, Chad Duell plans to cease playing Michael Corinthos come the new year. Per GH’s EP, Frank Valentini,” there are no plans to recast his role at this time, but you never know in daytime.” Read Duell’s full statement HERE.
The kids are all right (for once). Finn Carr’s Rocco will be on hand to give Lulu (Alexa Havins) a most enlightening update on Monday, December 2. The following day, Asher Antonzyn (Danny Morgan) will share scenes with onscreen pops Steve Burton, AKA Jason Morgan, and Laura Wright (Carly Spencer).
The Young and the Restless
Believe it or not, and stranger things have certainly have happened in Genoa City, Lauralee Bell’s Christine Williams will be doing Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) a solid on Thursday, December 5.
Look for a done-up Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) to cross paths with Claire (Hayley Erin) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) while prowling around on Ian’s (Ray Wise) behalf on Tuesday, December 3.
