Completing the 2024 New York City Marathon on November 3 was the culmination of a goal that soap hopper Greg Rikaart (Leo Stark, Days of our Lives; Kevin Baldwin, The Young and the Restless) set for himself way back in April of this year.
Greg Rikaart Rises To The Challenge
At the time, the actor shared that his participation was in aid of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and though he wound up just shy of his $10,000 goal, Rikaart crossed the finish line after a grueling four hours and 33 minutes. None too shabby!
Rikaart took to Instagram with a carousel chock full of snaps and videos from the big day and the caption: “I’ve had some pretty epic days in NYC, but I dunno anything that tops this one.”

Greg Rikaart Is Heartily Congrautlated
As expected, several of Rikaart’s costars — past and present — were among the throng of family, friends, and fans who offered their congratulations. Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin, Y&R) hailed his play brother as “Amazing,” while Rikaart’s bestie, Rebecca Budig (Taylor Hayes, The Bold and the Beautiful; ex-Hayden Barnes, General Hospital et al.) ribbed him with, “I hope your legs are sore today.
Martha Madison (Belle Brady, DAYS) added, “I’m so damn proud of you,” and Doug Davidson (ex-Paul Williams, Y&R) kidded: “All that running!!! AND without being chased!!! Congratulations.”
