The new year is upon us, and Days of our Lives co-executive producer, Janet Drucker, is offering up a smorgasbord of spoilers.
Days of our Lives 2025 Spoilers
“It is going to be a big year honoring the show’s past and legacy while setting up new, eventful, and exciting stories,” she enthused to TVInsider’s Stephanie Sloan. ”There is definitely a refocus and stronger storylines featuring our college-aged characters, as audiences are already getting a taste of with the Tate [Leo Howard], Holly [Ashley Puzemis], and Sophia [Madelyn Kientz] love triangle/baby story.
“We, of course, will stick with romance — Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, love triangles — plus a riveting whodunnit, and of course, small doses of humor Leo [Greg Rikaart], Hattie [Deidre Hall] and Bonnie [Judi Evans], Susan [Stacy Haiduk] and Vivian [Louise Sorel] always deliver.”
NOTE: Material penned by Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford, the Peacock sudser’s new headwriting team, will launch on April 24, 2025.
Love Lines And Bang Bang
Despite the spark seemingly rekindling, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) will realize that Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) just isn’t the man for her. Unfortunately, the man who is perfect for her — Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) — has his hands full with one Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins).
Speaking of rekindling, look for former lovers JJ (Casey Moss) and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) to get hot ‘n’ heavy. Ditto professional rivals EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and Bell (Martha Madison), Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) and not-so-jolly Holly (Ashley Puzemis), and Chad (Billy Flynn) and ersatz Abigail, Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord).
Speaking of EJ, his attempted murder will have the whole of Salem on edge — as will Rachel Black’s kidnapping.
Viewers can also look forward to the returns of Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and Hurricane Sami (Allison Lanier)
