While most saw a most distinguished, genteel fellow, there’s no denying that Doug Williams was a bit of a wild one, at least, in his younger days. There were the cons that landed him behind bars, the fact that he was paid to woo Julie and wreck her home with Scott Banning, and all the times he chose a fast buck and/or another woman over “The most beautiful girl in the world.”
Look for all these stories and more to come pouring forth from Eli (Lamon Archey) during a late-night convo with his beloved missus. To say that Lani (Sal Stowers) will be a mite surprised by the *ahem* colorful description of Doug’s past would be an understatement.
DAYS Spoilers: Fancy Seeing You Here
With the news of Doug’s passing having circulated far and wide (and at a break-neck pace if we do say so ourselves), far-flung family and friends of the much-loved crooner begin to make their way back to Salem.
Back after a 14-year hiatus is prodigal Horton daughter Marie (Maree Cheatham). Her first stop: the memorial to her beloved grandparents, Tom and Alice. And who should she run into but former sister-in-law Maggie (Suzanne Rogers)?
Opposite, Liz Chandler (Gloria Loring), Doug’s frequent duet partner, stuns Marlena (Deidre Hall) by showing up on her doorstep. Of course, the women go way, way back.
Liz dallied with Marlena’s hubby, Don Craig, and her bad dad brutally raped the good doctor. And then there was the time that the two were helped prisoner together at one of Stefano DiMera’s estates. Expect to see the two engage in quite the catch-up.
Finally, Days of our Lives spoilers have Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) reuniting with Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal), and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) stunned by an unexpected visitor: her baby brother Steven (Stephen Schnetzer)!
