Days of our Lives Spoilers
With so many of Doug Williams’ nearest and dearest returning for his memorial, it was inevitable that some persons with some less than stellar history between them would come face-to-face…like songstress Liz Chandler (Gloria Loring) and former love rival Marie Horton (Maree Cheatham).
Back in the day, off her break up from ne’er-do-well Alex Marshall (with whom she shares a daughter, Jessica), Marie took up with Neil Curtis (Sarah Horton’s biological dad) who was goo-goo-gaga for Liz but married Marie on the rebound.
One thing led to another, and Liz wound up pumping a round into Marie. It was an accident, she swore. She really thought that Marie was a burglar breaking into Neil’s home (which Liz herself had broken into right before convincing her ex to bed her atop his marital mattress!).
But that was then and this is now, and a lot of blood has flowed under that bridge. Still, the two women are not best pleased to run into one another in Horton Town Square. Luckily, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), a friend to both femmes, is on hand to play referee.

DAYS Spoilers: Play It Again
Meanwhile, thanks to some deft fingerwork by Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal), the Horton family time capsule — you remember, the one that was dislodged from the chimney after the fire that wrecked the home — is opened! But what treasures wait inside?
Finally, Days of our Lives spoilers have Belle (Martha Madison) receiving a surprise visit from her estranged hubby, Shawn Douglas (Brandon Beemer). Will Doug’s death prove to be the impetus for reconciliation?
