General Hospital fans can rest easy now. The former male cast member returning to the canvas — the one that executive producer Frank Valentini took great pleasure in teasing on the recent Daytime Emmys red carpet — is none other than Bryan Craig!
Bryan Craig Coming Back To GH
According to TVLine, who was the first to break the story, Craig is back for but one episode which air in “early August.” Details of the appearance are currently being withheld.
Craig started the rumor mill churning with a post on X that greatly implied he was the returnee that “the audience will go crazy for,” but another source sought to grind that to a halt. Then came photos of what was almost assuredly the actor on the ABC sudser’s soundstage.
Craig’s nearly-four-year tenure at GH began in 2013 when he succeeded Aaron Sanders in the role of Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly’s (Laura Wright) first biological sire. During his run, he earned four Daytime Emmy nominations (in the Outstanding Younger Actor category), snagging two (one in 2016 and another the following year).
