Some two months since the announcement that former All My Children star Alexa Havins had been tapped to take over the role of Lulu Spencer in General Hospital comes word on exactly when fans can expect to see her debut.
Alexa Havins GH Airdate Revealed
Per the latest issue of TV Guide — on sale now — the actress’ first scenes are scheduled for Monday, November 18.
Havins told the publication that, “The writers have written some fun things. [Lulu’s] waking up from a four-year coma, so we’ve got a lot of twists and turns and we hit the ground running.”
In addition to her stint at AMC (which lasted between 2003 and 2007 plus a guest spot in 2011), Havins has appeared in series such as CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Grey’s Anatomy, Castle, and Sweet Magnolias which counts amongst its leads her real-life husband and former AMC co-star, Justin Bruening (ex-Jamie Martin).
Before accepting the role of Lulu, Havins was sure that her time on the Netflix juggernaut would mark her career’s swan song. “When they asked me to play Justin’s ex [Vicky], I said to him, ‘Oh, this will wrap it up in a little bow. It’ll be sweet for the kids. We met on the first thing I did and [worked together] on the last thing I did.’ ”
