Come Tuesday, February 17, General Hospital’s Lucky Spencer will look mighty different. Days of our Lives alum Guy Wilson (ex-Will Spencer) is pitch-hitting for beloved returnee Jonathan Jackson.
GH Comings & Goings: Guy Wilson IN As Lucky
A spokesperson for the ABC sudser confirmed to Soap Opera Digest that Wilson will “appear as Lucky in a handful of episodes,” and that “Jackson is already back filming and will return to the airwaves later this month.” The recast comes at a most inopportune time as Lucky is in the thick of investing Big Bad Cyrus Renault for a string of mercy killings — not to mention his reconnecting with old flame Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst).
This marks Wilson’s second time at GH, as he (a bit ironically) played a fantasized teenage version of Luke Spencer, Lucky’s wayward pops. The actor’s impressive resume boasts roles in primetime fare such as S.W.A.T., Bosch: Legacy, and NCIS: Los Angeles.
