Turns out Bryan Craig isn’t the only actor returning to General Hospital. Jonathan Jackson is reprising his role of Lucky Spencer later this summer for what is being termed “a long run.”
Jonathan Jackson Coming Back To GH
Jackson first debuted as Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) sire in October 1993 and during his initial six-year tenure he won three (non-consecutive) Daytime Emmy Awards and legions of fans, especially once he was paired opposite Rebecca Herbst’s Elizabeth.
Though succeeded by soap hoppers Jacob Young (ex-Rick Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful; ex-JR Chandler, All My Children) and Greg Vaughan (ex-Diego Guittierez, Y&R; ex-Eric Brady, Days of our Lives), Jackson would go on to helm the role (on and off) from 2009 to 2015 (during which time he snagged two more Daytime Emmys.
Deadline was the first to report the exciting news. Suffice it to say, Port Charles is in for a whole heap of drama.
