General Hospital is about to get a whole lot sweeter! John J. York is bringing Mac back to Port Charles in the coming days and we can’t wait to see how his storyline unfolds.
Mac Returns to General Hospital!
John J. York took a step back from the soap universe last year to take care of his health. He kept fans up-to-date as he went through treatment for myelodysplastic syndromes and multiple smoldering myeloma and thankfully, things are going well. So well he’s decided it’s time to return to his old stomping ground and put Mac back on the canvas.
Word of his return came in May but now we know his airdate! Mac is resuming life in Port Charles as of Wednesday, June 19th! We’re sure his family will be elated to have him back in the fold.
We have to wonder if this will heat up his and Cody’s story. So far, Cody (Josh Kelly) has managed to keep the secret that he’s Mac’s son. But, that was before Mac’s wife found out. While she’s kept mum on this whopper, will Felicia (Kristina Wagner) push Cody to come clean once Mac is home?
What better way to welcome Mac back than to announce he’s a dad? It will be a dream come true, right? Surely, Mac will understand and welcome his son with open arms. Or, will he?
