Drew Cain is D.C. bound now that he’s won his election on General Hospital. Seems great, right? Yes, it is. He’ll take on this new job and become the best politician of all time. But…what about Aurora? He promised to hand over the reins to Curtis, except that’s one promise he has no intention on keeping.
Drew Cain Is The Worst Friend
Curtis (Donnell Turner) was proud as a peach to see his good buddy win. He was super stoked for Drew (Cameron Mathison) and what this means for his friend’s future. And, sure, he was happy for himself, too. He’s all excited to jump back into the corporate world and lead the way.
Unfortunately, Drew has proven himself to be a lying liar who lies and lies and lies once again. Not only did he brush off Curtis but he almost immediately tried to hand the keys to the kingdom over to Michael (Chad Duell). You know, the nephew who he already betrayed by sleeping with his wife? Yeah. Ick.
It’s Time For Some Karma
The worst part is Drew doesn’t seem to care about the people he’s hurting. He’s bedding Willow behind Michael’s back but also sleeping with Nina behind Willow’s back. He’s trying to make it up to Michael by handing him Aurora while not caring that it’s going to hurt Curtis. Does he even know what guilt is?
What he’s not counting on is Michael sounding the alarm and telling Jason about the affair. Michael may not be ready to confront Drew, but Jason sure is! He’s already in the Quartermaine entrance way just waiting for his brother to say one wrong thing so he can pounce.
It’s just too bad all of this didn’t come out before the election. Drew’s fate could have been sealed at the polls had those scandals come to light before the voting began.
