General Hospital fans have spent the better part of a year rooting for Sasha and Cody. The seemingly star-crossed lovers’ slow-burn romance has kept everyone on their toes. From the light flirting to the sparks to the first kiss, it was a dream comes true. Except, it’s all a nightmare now!
Oh Yes! General Hospital Really Went THERE!
Everything we thought about Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and her past went straight out the window this week when it was revealed she’s the daughter of Holly (Emma Samms) and Robert (Tristan Rogers)! Talk about shocking the fandom! None of us saw that coming.
Not only does this change Sasha’s standing in Port Charles as she’s no longer an outsider, it changes literally everything about her and Cody (Josh Kelly). The couple were falling deeply in love and were a fan-favorite pairing. And now, they are COUSINS?!

A GH Twist Like No Other!
Cody and Sasha just went from the couple to watch to the couple that’s all ick. Why would GH do this? Why can’t they let us have nice things? And, now we have sooo many questions…some of which we’re not sure we really want the answer to!
One of those questions is just how far has this love story gone? We’ve watched Sasha and Cody kiss and canoodle, but have they done more? On-screen, no. But, we can’t get it out of our heads that little James pointed out Sasha sleeps over at Cody’s house quite a bit (watch that clip in the video below).
What Now?
How does GH move forward after this? Obviously, Cody and Sasha have to break up (and probably throw up), but is it truly over? Sasha no sooner found out than she made out with him again (EWWWW) but that can’t keep happening, right? RIGHT?! Unless, of course, there’s another twist that Holly is a lying liar and Sasha isn’t actually related to Cody at all? Gosh, we hope so!
