Johnny Wactor, 37, best known to General Hospital fans as Knight in Slightly Tarnished Armor Brando Corbin, was gunned down on Saturday in downtown Los Angeles early Saturday morning, according to TMZ.

Per the outlet, Wactor and a coworker chanced upon a three-man team interfering with the actor’s vehicle. Scarlett Wactor relayed to TMZ that the group fired at Wactor despite her son doing nothing to halt their efforts.
Wactor racked up his first acting credit in 2007 courtesy of the Lifetime series Army Wives. He subsequently appeared in the likes of Sibera, Vantastic, Animal Kingdom, The OA, Criminal Minds, and Station 19
Between 2020 and 2022, he starred as Brando Corbin on GH. During his tenure, Wactor suffered under the yoke of dragon mother Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) and was paired opposite Sofia Mattsson’s Sasha Gilmore much to the pleasure of fans. In harrowing scenes, Brando was later dispatched by a hook-wielding Heather Webber (Alley Mills).
Wactor is survived by his mother and his younger brothers Lance and Grant.
