One day after documenting the smoldering pile that his home was reduced to by the out-of-control Los Angeles wildfires, Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain, General Hospital) sat down for an interview with his former colleagues at Good Morning America.
Daily Drama News: Cameron Mathison Speaks Out After Devastating Loss
With “the most important thing” granted (namely, that he and his family are safe), Mathison turned his attention to the “unbelievable amount of people going through the same thing we’re going through as a family…. I’ve lost my home and everything that I own. I have this hoodie and a pair of pants and two pairs of sneakers left. That’s it…
“[I’m] kind of stuck and reeling and thinking and every few minutes, you’re thinking about things that were in there that are irreplaceable. There’s a lot of things that are replaceable, but the kids’ projects, their baby photos were only film, my childhood [photos]…. Of course, that’s just stuff — and at the same time, it is still very unsettling and so surreal.”
