* Beloved nonagenarian Dick Van Dyke, whose win at this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards made history, and his enviable body of work, has been forever immortalized in the video for Coldplay’s latest single ‘All My Love.’
Said video was filmed entirely at the actor’s Malibu home in October and features a treasure trove of clips and mementos from Van Dyke’s life and career, as well as specially recorded conversational inserts. Check out the melodic tribute HERE.
* The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless nabbed three Mark-up Artist and Hair Stylist Guild Awards nominations between them, with the former up for ‘Best Make-up’ and ‘Best Hair Styling for a Daytime Television, Game Show, or Talk Show,’ and the latter racking up one nom in the ‘Best Hair Styling’ category.
* Fans of classic nighttime soap fare, rejoice! CBS’ Knots Landing and Falcon Crest are available to view in their entirety, and at your leisure, courtesy of Prime Video.
* Jackée Harry (Paulina Price Carver, Days of our Lives) and Valarie Pettiford (Amy Lewis, The Young and the Restless; ex-Dr. Sheila Price, One Life to Live et al.) star alongside a most talented ensemble in BET’s Too Many Christmases, premiering Thursday, December 12.
In the film, “Jerome (Denzel Whitaker) and Kayla (Porscha Coleman) are excited to spend their first Christmas together as husband and wife. The only problem is that they’ve never celebrated Christmas without their respective families. This Christmas, instead of deciding on one event, they agree to attend two at the same time, to appease their families.” (Editor’s query: What could possibly go wrong?)
