Late last year, Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks, General Hospital) lost her beloved mother, Natasha, to cancer. Now, the young actress is marking what would have been another birthday spent together, and passing on some life advice that we could all use.
Eden McCoy Honors Beloved Mother
McCoy took to Instagram with a carousel of snaps, including candids and throwbacks to her child and young adulthood. She captioned the collection: “Not a day goes by. [If] there’s one thing I can say- it’s keep your cards. Happy birthday mom.”

A perusal of McCoy’s offerings includes examples of cards she kept from her mom and heartfelt pennings. One note is stuffed full of sage nuggets that Natasha picked up along Life’s Road, nuggets like: “Be brave enough to say I’m sorry, or I love you, or I forgive you” and “Success is not measured by your job, your education, how much money you have, or what car you drive. Success is determined by who you are, how you treat others, and how you lead your life.”
Several of McCoy’s GH costars, past and present, waded into the comments section. William Lipton (ex-Cameron Webber) wrote: “Miss her so much. Love you Eden,” while Cassandra James (Terry Randolph), Marc Anthony Samuel (ex-Felix Dubois, GH), Hudson West (Jake Webber), and Brianna Nicole Henry (Jordan Ashford) offered a flurry of emojis. Tamara Braun (Ava Vitali, Days of our Lives; ex-Carly Spencer, GH) added: “Beautiful cards, photos and love. Sending you so much love, Eden.”
