It’s been a big few weeks for General Hospital alum Nicholas Alexander Chavez. The release of Monsters: The Lyle and Eric Story has skyrocketed the actor to fame. He’s garnered over a million new fans…all thanks to a fan edit TikTok.
Nicholas Alexander Chavez Reacts!
People Magazine caught up to the GHer to talk about the viral video that pushes his fame to the brink. The TikTok, lovingly deemed “the Nicholas Chavez edit” has made its rounds and not just on social media. It’s been played all over the world, including in college classrooms.
Obviously, this comes as a shock to Chavez. Who would expect so much attention because someone else made a post featuring a bunch of clips of you? He’s taking it all in stride, though. As is his girlfriend who was the one to show him the video.
@people Oh #NicholasChavez, we definitely “bond and connect with each other” through these fan edits. 🤭 #Monsters #Grotesquerie #NicholasAlexanderChavez #nicholaschavezedit ♬ original sound – People Magazine
Will Spencer Ever Be Trina’s Boyfriend Again?
What does all this newfound fame mean for his future? Any GH fan can tell you he’s going places…but will one of those places be back to Port Charles? While it’s not often stars return to the soapverse after they make these kind of waves in Hollywood, but we can hope!
As it stands now, the show announced a new man for Trina (Tabyana Ali) is on his way. Jens Austin Astrup shows up next month as Kai, one of Trina’s University classmates. Will she fall for him? And, if so, will we finally see Spencer return when things get serious? That would be a great way to shake up her life!
