Having previously teased the delicious fallout from Cyrus’ death and Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) baby drama, General Hospital‘s top scribes Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten are teasing what fans can expect where Kai and Trina, Liz and Lucky, and Jason and Sasha are concerned.
General Hospital’s Head Writers Tease What’s To Come
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, the dynamic duo termed Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) “handsome, charismatic, sensitive — and so far as [Trina] knows, has no baggage whatsoever… except for a dream he can’t quite let go of.” And that thwarted future is about to be exploited.
“[Kai is] casting about for a new direction when he learns of a cutting-edge medical procedure that could restore his ability to play football. But it’s a risky operation, made even riskier by the source of the opportunity — a person who has an ulterior motive for helping Kai. This opportunity comes with strings attached, and those strings may drag Kai and Trina into a conflict that isn’t theirs; one that could destroy them just as they’re getting started.”
Speaking on Lucky and Liz 2.0 (3.0?), Korte and Van Etten grant that the pair “ought to have smooth sailing… emphasis on ‘ought.’ Just as they’re getting back on track, Liz and Lucky may face another obstacle when another ex’s story threatens to collide with theirs….”
And as to whether or not Jason (Steve Burton) and Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) arrangement — he’s claiming her unborn babe as his own — will blossom into a full-blown romance, the pair offered: “Jason will have Sasha’s back as she tries to keep all interested parties at bay. He raised Michae for the first year of his life, so being a surrogate father comes naturally to him. But coming together with Sasha in this way may result in unanticipated complications for them both…”
