General Hospital‘s Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall) paid touching tribute to Billy Miller, her friend and former co-star, on the one-year anniversary of his passing.
Kelly Monaco’s Touching Tribute To Billy Miller
She wrote on Instagram (alongside an old photo of the two of them clowning around behind-the-scenes): “Duces “I’ve got your back and you always had mine” I will tell our story soon enough…. I love and miss you… and beyond.”
Miller, who joined the ABC sudser in 2014 (ostensibly as a recast Jason Morgan though his alter-ego would be proven to be Jason’s twin, Drew Cain) and remained a part of the cast until 2019, died on September 15, 2023 (a mere two days before his 44th birthday) following a decades-long battle with manic depression.
His stacked resume included guest, recurring, and starring stints in series such as CSI: NY, Justified, Ringer, Suits, Truth Be Told, All My Children, and The Young and the Restless. His work on the latter netted him three Daytime Emmy Awards (two for Outstanding Supporting Actor and one for Outstanding Lead Actor). Film connoisseurs may recognize him for his work in Bad Blood and American Sniper
