It’s been an emotional few weeks for Kelly Monaco as she exited the set of General Hospital and said goodbye to the place that’s been her second home for more than two decades. During her final moments at the show, she bid a tearful goodbye that is breaking our hearts.
Kelly Monaco Exits Stage Left
A fan on X (formerly Twitter) named Pam (@pjporten) came across the video of Monaco’s farewell speech after she shot her final scenes. In the clip, Kelly shared her grief over leaving the show and her love for everyone she’s worked with along the way. She thanked them for all the memories and experience and promised to it won’t be the last everyone sees of her.
There was applause, there were tears, and there were many, many hugs as Kelly, still dressed in a hospital gown, took her final bow and wrapped up her long-standing run as the iconic Sam McCall.
