On Christmas day, Michael Easton (ex-Hamilton Finn, General Hospital; ex-Michael McBane, One Life to Live et al.) took to Instagram with a tribute to the late, great Kamara de los Reyes, his former costar and good friend of many decades.
Michael Easton’s Remembers Kamar de los Reyes
The actor wrote in part: “Kamar was a man of faith who never lost hope. He loved his wife and his children and their love for him was the lifeforce that kept him going.
“He meant so much to so many. Millions of people knew Kamar from television and movies and video games. I just knew him as my best friend. The best man at my wedding. For thirty years he was always there for me and my family. The nights seem a little darker now but I know he’s still with us, his light guiding us forward.”
Several of Easton and de los Reyes’ industry family offered comments on the post, including Melissa Archer (ex-Natalie Buchanan, OLTL) who wrote: “Beautifully said” and Rebecca Budig (Taylor Hayes, The Bold and the Beautiful; Hayden Barnes, GH et al.) who penned: “Your friendship was inspiring. Thinking of both of you and his family tonight.”
