Much beloved daytime star Steve Burton (Jason Morgan, General Hospital et al.) was joined on stage on the latest leg of his uproarious tour by a most familiar face — second-born sire Jack!
Steve Burton and Jack Burton Share The Limelight
The actor recently took to Instagram with a reel showing him and his boy backstage at a gig and Jack bounding onto the boards just head of his pops. In the accompanying caption Burton penned:
“What a huge blessing this kid is. These last two shows I had, my son Jack opened for me. [StarDome Comedy Club] and [Zanies Nashville]. He’s never been on stage. Ever. He did 5 mins which I’m sure seemed like forever.
“The biggest fear is public speaking for most and on top of it to get up and try to tell a joke or two. It might be one of the toughest things to do.
“I just want to say how incredibly brave that is. I never would’ve done it at his age lol. I was ditching high school drama because I was afraid to do my monologue in front of people.
“He was bold and went for it and did an amazing job. I’m so proud of him. Thanks to all who came! Til next time!”
