The new year is right around the corner, and General Hospital‘s top scribes — Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten — are offering up a smorgasbord of spoilers.
General Hospital 2025 Spoilers
“Port Charles stands on a powder keg,” the dynamic duo teased to TVInsider’s Stephanie Sloan. “One spark from any number of stories may explode marriages and fortunes, create new love and new life … and take lives, too. No status quo is certain, and no one is safe.”
Chest clutching, grimacing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is set to be “hit with an existential crisis that has him re-examining his personal and professional lives. He’ll be forced to make a big decision about his future; and anything that impacts the reigning mob boss of Port Charles will impact everyone on the canvas.”
Meanwhile, the embattled Ashford family will find themselves continuously under siege. The Curtis/Drew rivalry threatens “to erupt into a full-blown war,” made all the worse by Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) involvement. Portia (Brook Kerr) will find a confidante in Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), while his nascent romance with Jordan (Tanisha Harper) hits a speed bump when the deputy mayor undertakes “a dangerous mission to rid Port Charles of a growing threat.”
Alexis’s efforts to reconcile the fractious Davis coven may all be for naught as Kristina’s (Kate Mansi) “resolve to settle her score with Ava threatens to set back any progress and then some.” Mother dearest will also have to reckon with Drew (Cameron Mathison) giving serious consideration to upping sticks for parts anew — with Scout in tow.
Speaking of Drew, look for him and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) to “double down on their relationship, which will result in a raft of enemies aligning against them.”
On the subject of the path to true love never running smoothly, Korte/Van Etten relays that “Lulu is as in love with [Dante] now as she was the day she fell into a coma. But his life is much changed. He’s grieving Sam, and the family she left behind is shattered. Lulu can’t even bring herself to tell him how she feels, much less intrude on his mourning. But the longer she waits, the greater the chances that someone else will catch his heart … or hers.”
Lucas is also poised to catch a stranger’s eye — which doesn’t bode well for Brad’s (Parry Shen) plan to win his ex back.
GH’s 2025 Preview
In addition to Cyrus’ (Jeff Kober) murderous antics, Laura (Genie Francis) will also find herself contending with Martin’s (Michael E. Knight) conflict-creating shenanigans and Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) relocation to the upstate hamlet she’s called home for decades. “Port Charles will need her level best … and so will her old friend, Sonny…”
As for Sidwell, he’ll find entrée to PC society courtesy of Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). “She has designs to expand Deception and will need more than Sonny’s capital to make it happen. That’s where Sidwell comes in. He alone possesses the resources needed to grow Deception, and she’s glad to avail herself of them – much to her partners’ chagrin.”
And on Michael’s (Chad Duell) upcoming exit: “a shocking act of violence” puts paid to his scheme to stick it to Willow and Drew!
