At the Quartermaine mansion, a chat between husband and wife veers into the serious with a quickness. “Are you saying you want to stop trying,” exclaims Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) to Chase (Josh Swickard).
Meanwhile, a stroll through Rice Plaza to see the Christmas decorations turns serious with a quickness for aunt and nephew. “I have made things, just, a whole lot worse,” bemoans Lucas (Van Hansis) to Ava (Maura West).
Cut to Josslyn (Eden McCoy) asking an unseen someone: “You really believe that?”
