This week’s episode of The Daily Drama Podcast — brought to you by DailyDrama.com — is short and sweet and mostly sticks to Bradford Anderson’s probing q, namely, just how big is the Quartermaine house?
The Latest Daily Drama Podcast Episode
But before he and cohost Steve Burton got into the particulars, debate: is it stuffing? Or is it dressing? Steve’s take? You gotta call it stuffing. Otherwise, you’re “minimizing the importance and status of the stuffing.” (Agree? Disagree? Do you call the dish something altogether different? Let us know in the comments section below.)
Bigger On The Inside
That (seemingly) settled, it was on to one of the biggest developments over at General Hospital: Jason moving back into the family home (well, Monica’s home; Alan gave it to her, you know!) all for the love of Danny.
Bradford thinks that setup is perfect for the next big sitcom — or reality show. Something along the lines of “Real World Quartermaine” or Big Brother Quartermaines.” Maybe even “Multiple Golden Bachelors.” (And why not?)
Steve meanwhile is itching to see how Tracy is going to react to the motley crew of invaders — and if fans are equally curious, the actor teased that there are indeed some “interesting scenes [housewise]” coming up between him and his play auntie. [SQUEAL!]
Next came the fun part – figuring out just how many persons inhabited the palatial abode. Let’s see, there’s Monica, Tracy, Drew, Jason, Dante, Scout, Danny, Rocco, and Sasha and Ned *OOPS* Bradford ran out of piggies. (And he didn’t even get to Olivia, and Brook Lynn and Chase.)
And as an aside, we gotta agree with Bradford. Face of Deception to Quartermaine chef is “a bit of a step-down.” Also, he hit the nail on the head when declaring the Q property “the most interesting house that hasever been.” (And thank goodness it has so many wings to house the rabble!)
As for Steve, he could but enthuse that the cramped quarters of today is “almost like a sequel to the original. Like we’re getting back to the house; the house is a part of the story.”
But don’t call Stone Cold vs Drew a redux of Jason vs AJ. “Jason liked AJ. They were still brothers. They grew up together…This whole Drew thing, I don’t even know what this is.”
