The latest installment of The Daily Drama Podcast — brought to you by DailyDrama.com — featured the return of beloved actor Jonathan Jackson who’s been tipped to reprise his role of Lucky Spencer later this summer.

Much has changed since Jonathan Jackson was last on General Hospital — for the uninitiated, he appeared for a few episodes back in 2015 as part of Anthony Geary’s last hurrah — especially the fast pace in which scenes are shot. But so too have plots and characters evolved. (And given neither he nor hosts Steve Burton or Bradford Anderson could recall the specifics of Lucky’s exit storyline or indeed what connections he has left on the canvas, a quick perusal of the web wouldn’t hurt!)

As for how his much-clamored for return came to be, Jackson offered, “It just kind of happened organically…it just felt like the right time…it all came together. There had been other times throughout the years where something like this almost happened, but it just wasn’t quite the right time for various reasons…”

And for those curious as to whether or not music might play a part in Lucky’s comeback, the lyricist/instrumentalist/tune carrier enthused that he would be “completely open to that.” Of course, it’s still early days.
