On the latest episode of The Daily Drama podcast — brought to you by DailyDrama.com, “your one-stop shop for all your soap needs” (including “a lot of cool Steve and Bradford stuff”) — the gentlemen hosts welcomed pint-sized thespian Jophielle Love (Violet Finn, General Hospital).
Jophielle Love, Welcome To The Daily Drama Podcast
At the top of the interview, the trio — quit by accident mind you — conjures up quite the scene: Jason Morgan, walking around in a leather jacket, looking mean and scary, suddenly zooming on past in a pair of Heelys! Yes, we can see. And yes, it’s HILARIOUS!
The summer has been kind to Love. She’s been traveling. A tour of Vermont here, some time spent in Paris there — she speaks “un peu de” of French, but she understands much more — and then a jaunt around her “hometown” that is L.A.
Like a smattering of fans of this very show, Love took Burton to task for not watching the star that the two of them (and Bradford too!) star in, then impressed the hosts with her litany of work (begun at age 5 some five years previous) — commercials, movies, GH, Will Trent, even Grey’s Anatomy (in which some pretty nifty CGI was employed). Talked about a stacked resume!
If music is indeed the food of love, Love intends to play on and on. It’s always been apart of her life. Perhaps her first great love. Even as a toddler, she was composing tunes and lyrics. “Obviously it was gibberish, but it was a song.”
Music has even played a pivotal role in her acting journey. “I’m really good at remembering song lyrics, so, what I do [to learn my part of the script] is I kind of sing my lines, and sing them over…”
Outside of music and acting, Love has a plethora of hobbies…and hidden talents; talents that she can parlay into another career if she so chooses. “Sometimes I like making little movies by myself that I direct. I’m actually working on one right now called Sleep Tight; it’s a horror movie.”
The latest installment of the Daily Drama Podcast is a rollicking good time. But don’t just take out word for it. Check it out in full, then take to the comments section and share your thoughts. And afterward, why not give Daily Drama’s brand-new app a try? It’s got Burton’s and Anderson’s seal of approval after all.
